Jalonta Freeman Pays $200 For ‘iPad’ That’s Actually Just A Mirror

This is why i always buy my tech toys or ANYTHING at a store and pay full prive so i  know i’m getting the real thing. also i feel like it’s not right, comapanys should get full profits for their products

and some randomness:

  • i love the “check all” button when it comes to games, LOVE it. soooo much easier
  • sometimes when i check Pinerest in the morning and i find a recipe, i don’t only pin it, i get up and make it at that moment
  • and the buffalo chicken was good (from the recipe above)

Fantasy Fudge Recipe

15 Oct

I made this the other day, and oh my it was soooooo good! plan to make more very soon!

I made mine with butterscotch chips because didn’t have chocolate chips on hand

Recipe from Kraft

  • 3 cups  sugar
  • 3/4 cup  butter or margarine
  • 1 small  can (5 oz.) evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup) (Do not use sweetened condensed milk.)
  • 1-1/2 pkg.  (12 squares) BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
  • 1 jar  (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 cup  chopped PLANTERS Walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp.  vanilla

LINE 9-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Bring sugar, butter and evaporated milk to full rolling boil in 3-qt. saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

ADD chocolate and marshmallow creme; stir until melted. Add nuts and vanilla; mix well.

POUR into prepared pan; spread to cover bottom of pan. Cool completely. Use foil handles to lift fudge from pan before cutting into squares.

  • Ice cream (in this case, Moose Tracks)
  • blend

you can leave it like that

  • pour melted butter over the tots
  • put some creole seasoning on it
  • and some parsley too
  • bake for 20 mins

and yum!

Tuna Salad

3 Oct

A simple recipe really, I just don’t add eggs and celery to mine

  • 2 cans of tuna
  • mayo
  • relish
  • mustard

(just eyeball everything, I don’t put a lot of mayo since I’m not a fan of mayo)

then enjoy it in a pita pocket!

Garlic Biscuits

2 Oct
Yesterday I was hungry and wanted to try something new so I made this:
  • 1 can refrigerated Homestyle Biscuits
  • 3 tablespoons Butter, melted
  •  Garlic Powder
  •  Parsley
  •  Minced Onion
  •  Parmesan Cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a dish mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, minced onion and Parmesan cheese
Remove biscuits from cans. Place biscuits close together over the top of the  butter mixture.
Bake biscuits in the oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and let stand for 3 minutes. Turn biscuits upside down onto a serving plate. Serve warm!

Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie

1 Oct

The other day, I was craving something… peanut butter banana came to mind. I haven’t made it before but it sounded good

I came up with this

in the blender:

  • milk
  • Peanut butter
  • banana

needed more sweetness so I added

  • melted butterscotch chips
  • honey

blend and enjoy!

(I’m trying to stay away from sugar ( and have for like 2 months) so I use honey instead)

Randomness

22 Sep

Every time I open Feedly, I see those cool deals on kids clothes or sippy cups and think ooh i wanna buy.Now I don’t have kids, true I can buy them for the kids in my family, and I spoil them plenty, but I want to be able to use it on MY (future) kids. makes me think, when I have a baby, i will have a reason to and will buy those cute things for my kids. for now I need to tell myself I don’t need those cute things now.

yesterday i downloaded a free e book for kindle- Green Smoothie Magic. looks good, plan to try some recipes in there

ofc i downloaded the new iOS6 yesterday and been playing with ever since. It feels like i got a new phone. ALOT of cool new apps and alot of improvements. this update will hold off my craving for the iPhone 5. will do a post on this topic soon. but the gist of it, LOVE IT!

two days before iOS6,i got my replacement kindle and played with it all day that day. Happy i got it replaced. this is my third kindle, as the other 2 had damaged screen on one and exploded battery (i think). i like my kindle, but if this one breaks, NO MORE kindle for me. experienced problems one too many.will switch to iPad after this one. on another note, i read that Walmart is planning to stop selling kindles, old and new versions
